- Charles Cingolani, teacher, served in the U.S. Army, studied and taught in the States and abroad and now lives in Germany. He is the author of The Butler Pennsylvania Poems. His In the Wheat : Songs in Your Presence are poems about his years in the seminary. He has written poetry concerning the Civil War. He has also attempted to write poetry about Auschwitz, that unspeakable tragedy of the past century in Monk in Auschwitz. He has a volume of Collected Poetry.
His interest in German literature led to his trans-lations: Poetry of Eduard Mörike in English and the translation of fairy tales by Richard von Volkmann-Leander.

That's my daughter, Katharina and her husband Matthias Selzer. Katharina lives in Mainz, Germany. The little tyke's name is Elias; 9 months old.
