At a Concert ~

Last evening a quintet from Leipzig was playing Beethoven. The music was overwhelmingly beautiful. The lead violinist captivated my attention. Blond, blue-eyed, surely a most likeable person. Somehow like a school-boy, innocent, harmless. He played with such enthusiasm and intensity.
All at once I imagined him wearing a W.W.II Nazi helmet and being on a battlefield and I having him in the sights of my M1 at 100 yards. Could I ever have pulled the trigger?

Dear Charles -

That is one intense post. You ask the same question that so many men have asked. I would say that is the lead violinist was aiming at you, you very well may pull the trigger.

FYI, my godson attends St. Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pa.
Beautiful college, beutiful State!

God bless!

My uncle was a graduate. Great to hear it still exists.
