Shades of Shoah
One Sunday morning in Munich
Seventy years later
Six suitcases painted white
Stood on a sidewalk
Each with a rose stuck on
And nametags.
People walked past,
Stopped, bent over to read
And continued on
With shoulders stooped—
Wrenched from Sunday calm.

Today our Bible Study was about seeing the big picture. We don't pretend our wretched day is not wretched, but we rejoice because we belong to Christ, wretched day notwithstanding.
I just found your blog....and I am sort of getting acquainted.
Thanks for taking time.
