. . . about little things, and the Big . . .
Good to read you again. Would chimney swifts be what I call swallows (as in the swallows that fly back to Capistrano in mid march...was it Hemingway that spoke of them?)They are small and black with white breasts and their tails are v shaped. They have great fun chasing each other and watching them is more exciting than watching a chase scene in a movie...
Well, I have never heard of this bird until now. At first I thought you were referring to the Sweeps cleaning your chimney! LOL!So in my curiosity I "googled" this very interesting fellow and found out that he spends ALL his waking hours on the wing! Here is a good link. Hopefully the HTML will work. If not cut n' paste:Chimney SwiftI have been away from my computer since Sunday..I , too am glad to be back!ccheryl
Hello: I'm new to blogging, but was intrigued by your blog's title and obvious spiritual thrust. I'm a senior citizen (73), with a varied religious/spiritual background and would enjoy some connection with good hearted, clean minded, Christ centered folks. Blessings to you.
