Voices from on High ~

I look up into the blue but can't catch sight of the lark singing all those glissandos to thank You for a perfect Sunday morning.

charles or guests..can you tell me how to post under the blogger button rather than anonymous. It will not take my blog user name and password. Do I have to sign up under another account to post in other blogs? .
Perhaps it was the site yesterday? Here goes again.

Charles, how can it be that we have the same way of thinking and reflecting on things??
There's a lark in the laurel tree just outside my bedroom, that starts singing his praises at 4:15 am on the dot every morning. It's so loud I can't help but wake up, but initial irritation gives way to a warm, sleepy smile as I fall back asleep, reassured that a new day is dawning.

I am afraid I must be somewhat out of tune. Living here in the Blue Ridge I have become so much of nature, that I only seem to here the "out of" nature sounds. For example I will wake when the cricket stops or a mechanical sound cuts the nightly orchestration like a knife. I caught a trespasser once, he was pushing his motorcycle thru the property at 3:00am, I heard the chain clicking on the sprocket.

Just to let you all know I too now have a blog. Hope you'll come and visit, although I am not as wise and talented as Charles...

That is a beautiful description of the lark's joy in the morning.
