At the Piano ~
Take J. S. Bach, Goldberg Variations, Nr. 30 and play it — you can do it a lifetime — and every time, every time, that electrical feeling runs through you and you awaken to the sublime.
I have one word to describe the man and his art...TRANSENDENT. My 3 favorites in order: 1. Organ Toccata & Fugue in d min. 2. Brandenburg Concertos 3. Bach's Chaconne in D minor for solo violin.

Sublime?? hardly a whisper in ones ear are the Goldbergs!
One of the most fabulous pieces he has done. The discipline of it all, is unmentionable, strikingly beautiful! Glen Gould's recording in 1956 I think would be one of the best recordings of this piece of work.
Although I find it hard, he wrote the work for a man with insomnia for the 1st variation could stimulate the dead! And yet to play it is even more of a task! ( especially for someone as dyslexic as me!) after being exposed to Bach and attempting Goldbergs I have come to realize this man was from or inspired from a divine source!
