Would the great medieval cathedrals ever have been built if the builders were not absolutely convinced of the Eucharistic presence of the Person that the structure was to house?

I think they were just out to make a beautiful building.
The wisest man in the world said that "Wisdom was appointed from eternity", before everything. I feel it was all thought out and it was good. The buildings had to be built. The the "real building" though, is in the hearts of the men who built them and they were convinced in something we still do not comprehend. BMc

What is meant by Eucharistic Presence?
